Tips For Designing High Quality 25mm Badges

Image Resolution:

  • We recommend using 300dpi for your image resolution, to ensure the best print quality. Images with a resolution under 300dpi will not print sufficiently well for quality badges.

Design Principles:

  • Badges are small, so your design needs to be simple, bold and clear. If your design isn't clear on your computer screen, it'll be even worse on a badge!

  • For text use a big, bold, clear font so that the text is readable. Small text will not be readable!

  • Thin lines and delicate detail do not come out well, so it's best to avoid them. Be bold!

  • Two or three contrasting colours stand out far better than similar colours.

  • If you are not sure about your design, send it to us and we will advise you. If your design is unsuitable, we'll give you advice on how to make it ok.
